Trischa is a fierce friend who has been in my life for 15 years since we were paired randomly as flat mates in New Zealand. She is now settled with her partner and 2 beautiful children. When Trischa couldn’t explain her Illness to her little kiddo she decided to write a children’s book about a family of fish, which I had the great honour of illustrating. It is available here.
This portrait was auctioned through Bluethumb with 100% of the $6070 proceeds going directly to Trischa and her family. Battling Breast cancer for the 3rd time, Trischa has found tremendous success in integrative cancer treatments, most of which are not covered by medical insurance
